Crunchy On-the-Go Breakfast
Here we go with the routine of the back to school schedule and creating easy breakfast for kids. I enjoyed this process for many years. Now I must think what would healthy at the same time be appetizing for my teenager early in the morning. They are now have late nights and early morning with no appetite and up at the last minute to go to class. As parents, we know that breakfast is very important for our children. I was concerned when they strolled out of the house without having any breakfast. Now it is very important to have an easy, delicious Crunchy On The Go Breakfast that is also healthy.
It used to be so easy as it goes without saying breakfast will be: cereal for the kids. Gradually, we began making cereal recipes and everyone enjoys them. Now we have all change and early morning is no longer easy for everyone. There is not much appetite early in the morning as it once used to be as well as getting enough rest. As a mom, I appreciate all the back to school tips. I will share with you my Delicious Breakfast on the go recipe and know that you will get some ideas and make your family happy as well. Here we go:
A delicious, quick and easy recipe made with fruits, yogurt, applesauce and crunchy cinnamon cereal. Most teenagers and adults will enjoy this healthy on the go breakfast.
- 2 ounces applesauce
- 2 ounces yogurt
- 2 ounces strawberries diced
- 2 ounces blueberries
- a 5 ounce jar
- In a jar, in layers: applesauce, yogurt, blueberries and strawberries . This leaves enough space for cereal and for you to eat. Place cereal in a separate container. When you are are ready to eat, put the cereal in the jar, this gives it a crunchy taste. Enjoy!!!
It was quite funny, the first day I did two jars, one for my teen and the other for myself. When I was ready to pack my breakfast, the jar was gone. On the second day, I made three jars of Crunchy On The Go Breakfast, they were all gone. I never thought everyone would enjoy this crunchy breakfast. I sure learned to never under estimate the crunchy breakfast. Really, we found it quite delicious as an after school snack as well.
