Give Thanks, Our Last Good-Bye in Miami
Hi,
America is a beautiful country with a garden filled of a variety of colorful and sweet smelling flowers, roses and many fragrances blends together that makes it absolutely unique. We are graced by many levels of culture, talents and skills, when used appropriately makes America powerful! As we all know, abusing power reflects an enormous EGO and leaves a bitter taste to all worldwide, pathetic! The first quarter of this year has been full of sadness and negativity: harm, hurt, and sad memories. Today we share our post of Give Thanks, Our Last Good-Bye in Miami!
This is a bitter sweet post that leaves me extremely tired upon hearing all that is happening in our country, in our state of Florida. Valentine’s Day will always be remembered even though there is so much to give “Thanks” at the same time so much hurt and sadness. As someone who has been given a second chance to live, I feel blessed. I have seen many parents cried with joy to see their children alive and able to hold them in their arms and some sad as their child is place to rest. As a parent, it is not easy as I write this piece on Give Thanks, Our Last Good-Bye in Miami!
Although life is hectic and not much time to get much done, I believe we need to take time or a momentos to say “I love you” to our love ones. So much is happening so quickly, life seems so short. There is no time for negativity, let’s replace: remorse, hate, anger or jealousy with positivity, love, joy, respect and compassion for our family, neighbors and community.
Sometimes, we need to share the kindness we have in our hearts, others do not know what kindness is and do not know how to react to kindness. If we continue to share kindness, it will be return shyly at first but it will return. If you see a person walking to work daily, you can share a good morning respectfully. It will be returned respectfully eventually. It makes a difference in life and it helps, sometimes it takes longer but we can make a difference!
Sometime ago, approximately a month ago, we had seventeen love ones died in a shoot out while others scuttle for theirs lives. Never in our dreams did parents think this would happen and much less those living in the State of Parkland, Fl.
PARKLAND, Florida was considered the safest city in 2016, the south Florida city, with a population of 31,507, had only seven reported violent crimes and 186 property crimes the previous year.
“This city, tucked alongside the Everglade Wildlife Management Area on the east coast of Florida, is an affluent one that’s intentionally designed to mimic a park,” the council said on its website.
